It's a bold statement piece and also a slimming color. Coco Chanel has said "Women think of all colors except the absence of color. I have said that black has it all. White too. Their beauty is absolute. It is the prefect harmony." Why wouldn't you want an essential garment like that in your closet??? I can't stress the importance of a classic piece but I feel every women should have at least one black dress in her closet.
