Lorde for M.A.C.

Hey lovelies,

I just found out the great news that Lorde has teamed up with MAC…
As you can see I'm late but its all good. I'll blame it on my shopping withdrawal because this girl hasn't purchased make up in forever.
Seriously I haven't walked into a MAC store in like 5 months. It's crazy I know.

According to Women Wears Daily, Its been confirmed that two products from this collection will be a deep plum lipstick and an updated version of MAC's Penultimate Eye Liner in Rapidblack in a deep black.

Personally I'm looking forward to invest in a new lipstick.
I'm a huge fan of M.A.C.'s Heroine and of Lorde's album Pure Heroine.
It's only right that her limited edition signature lipstick is called Pure Heroine.

Hopefully this limited edition collection won't sell out like Rihanna's did.
When I say I was on the hunt for Riri hearts M.A.C. Talk that Talk…
Girl! I ventured to every MAC store in my area until I found a local Nordstrom which had a MAC booth and they just happened to have 2 lipsticks left.

In the states this limited edition collection will officially be released on June 5 in stores and online.
As for my international lovelies the line will be available to purchase online and in store in July.

Love,

Jamoore

Lace Me Up!

Lace Me up!

Lace Me up! by lovejamoore

I'm currently loving the femininity and delicateness of a lace bra. I feel every women needs at least one pair in her lingerie drawer. Whenever I put on a lace bra it just makes me feel confident and sexy. If a garment can change the way I feel, why not invest in more clothes that gives good vibes.

Over the past few weeks I've been on a hunt for the perfect bra.
I found a few but my search isn't over yet.

Starting from the top.

1. I found this lovely black lace bra at Urban outfitters for $16.
They have a wide variety of colors and styles.

2. The gray bra fits like a sports bra. Though with the lace trim at the bottom it  adds a feminine touch. Got this one on sale for $5.

3. The peach bra has a built in wire and is completely laced out from the straps to the clip on the back.
Purchased this lovely at Marshalls for $6.

4. This tan and black bra has lace and mesh which I love. Its from Marilyn Monroe intimates collection got this for $6.

I've been lacing on a budget hehe.
I'm currently on the hunt for a lace bra like the ones in the layout underneath the words "Lace Me Up" so if any of you lovelies know where I can find them locally.
Let me know.

Music Monday: Lary, you have to get out of my SYSTEM..

Hey lovelies,

First I'd like to apologize for neglecting my blog… and this late post. The month of April has flown by swiftly. I've spent most of it mainly focusing on music, work and becoming a better me. When I "go ghost" I tend to throw myself into music for comfort. One of my favorite artist to listen to when I'm in my feelings is Res but every time I hear a new artist it changes… As you can tell I'm open-minded when it comes to music.
With that being said todays Music Monday (i mean tuesday hehe) features Lary

She is a German artist who embodies straight dopeness with her poetic justice braids and her style is on point. Her song "System" released last year and was featured in her EP album #FutureDeutscheWelle which means, future german wave. She is currently on tour..
I wish I could have met her when she was down here for Art Basel..
But that's the past I just know the next time she is in the states I'm hunting her down.

Check out her video below.

Make sure to stay up to date with either her blog, sound cloud, FDW, or instagram.

Music Monday: Mo to the E to the… Moesha

Today's music monday features underground hip hop artist Sir J. He is a Palm Beach Artist and Producer residing in LA. He released this song "Moesha" a few months ago. Check out the music video below.

I like the old school feel of this track. Sir J's flow is pretty dope especially when things slow down around the 2 min. mark. If you feeling this song like I do purchase it on iTunes here. This song also will be featured on his up and coming project B.A.P.S. Legends.

To stay updated go follow him on twitter here and instagram @sirj561.

Music Monday: Niykee Heaton, Jeni & SZA

Before viewing a video by Shameless Maya I thought a commercial was going to come on… I was surprised when it turned out to be a music video of Niykee performing this song. & LOVED IT instantly… technically I love the lyrics because girl I got some darn bad intentions....

To be honest I'm not quite sure how I found Jeni… It was either tumblr or sound cloud.. I really think it was sound cloud but whatever I like how she takes these hit songs and created dope flow. I literally downloaded every song she had... My fave is Wildfire.

This lovely lady was introduce to me by this guy I'm talking to. I fell deeply in love with her voice.

I hope you lovelies enjoy today's music monday.

P.S. Blood Moon is tonight.
I shall be at the beach viewing it.
Hopefully the crazies don't come… they always come out on a full moon.

Take me to Coachella.

Coachella

Coachella by lovejamoore

Its now Day 3 of Coachella…. Unfortunately I was unable to attend this year #nochella but that didn't stop me from making a layout. As your getting prepared for round 2 of Coachella, or any music festival for that matter, keep a few things in mind... the outfit you want to rock highlights your personality, is flattering on your figure, and makes you feel fabulous. Most importantly comfort is key. If your comfortable in the outfit you chose and have mentally made a commitment to that assemble… You better walk like your Naomi Campbell to the point were you ooze confidence.

Iris Apfel stated "I say, dress to please yourself. Listen to your inner muse and take a chance. Wear something that says 'Here I am!' today." I totally agree with her. I know with my own personal style I love to make a statement. So I say make your statement today!!

Onto today's layout, this casual boho assemble on the left is great for when your jamming to your favorite artist or just walking around. Start with a crocheted top, found this one at H&M, and grab a matching handbag, also from H&M. By the way there is nothing wrong with too much crochet. Add a pair of flats, these are Jeffrey Campbell, and high waisted shorts, grab these at H&M. This is an opportunity to show off your personality when your deciding on what footwear to strut with. For accessorizes add a leg chain, a cuff earring and a statement necklace. Don't forget to add a hat and your favorite pair of shades to protect yourself from those UV rays. To tie the look together add a braided belt.

The edgy outfit on the right is perfect if your going to an event by the pool. Try to show your personality with your bathing suit. This one is a bustier bathing suit top with matching high waisted bottoms. If your not in the tanning mood, throw on a cardigan and these CoCo && Breezy shades and just relax poolside. The art of choosing the right pair of shades is one I haven't master yet I say go with your gut.

For accessorizes add a body chain, a few rings and a pair of studs and a cuff earring. The key to this look is layering your jewelry both the rings and earrings. We aren't done yet, toss on a cross body bag, a pair of sandals and a headband, which is another great opportunity to show your personality. To complete the look add some sunscreen, bring your handy dandy fan and don't forget to take loads of pictures.

Check out the line up

Here is a list of artist I would want to see...
Solange, Lorde, Foster the People, Kid Cudi, Ellie Goulding,
Lana Del Rey, Calvin Harris, Little Dragon, and Jhene Aiko.
Peace out lovelies and enjoy the music...

P. S. Don't forget to watch the blood moon tomorrow.

Love,

Jamoore

Alexander Wang x HM

Just found out the great news a few minutes ago thanks to style.com.

H&M announced, at COACHELLA so mad I couldn't go this year, that it's next guest designer collaboration will be with Alexander Wang for Fall '14. Wang is the first American designer to partner with H&M in the ten years the company has been doing these collections. H&M creative advisor, Margareta Van Den Bosch explained "... We've always liked Alexander's Designs. He's very contemporary. It's very young, but it's also things that can be worn by any age because of his influences in tailoring and sport. He's very much today." This is a great opportunity for, 30 year old, Wang being the first American designer chosen for H&M's tenth anniversary. Wang stated "... I wanted to do something different. It will be a new take on a lifestyle offering.... It's a completely new take on how they do collaborations."

After working at H&M and being involved in previous guest designers, I'm hoping that its not going to be as crazy as Versace and the clothes will be as wearable as Isabel Marant.

Wang will design collections for both men and women. They will be sold in 250 H&M stores worldwide, and online starting November 6, 2014.

Music Monday: I Will Never Let You Down

I must say I'm a fan of Miss Rita Ora. Check out this brits new track "I Will Never Let You Down!" I see she got inspired by Gwen Stefani in this video. It definitely has a No Doubt kinda feel.

Two years ago I attended a Meet and Greet at Wild 95.5 radio station where I was blessed to see her preform live. Thanks to my bestie, Miguel, I was able to invite these lovelies. My girlie, Melissa, designed some shoes for Ms. Ora. Check out Melissa intsagram @stylecon.

During Rita's preformance I couldn't help but appreciate how she was able to change her sound in the acoustic version of her hit song "R.I.P." Check it out below.
